PM Vault Supervisor- Kansas City
DEPARTMENT: VaultREPORTS TO: CMS Manager
DUTIES:
Implement, monitor, and recommend changes to policies and procedures to ensure accountability and security/safety/operation of all currency and coin transiting the branch each month. Update as needed to ensure process effectiveness and control, accountability and security of all cash movement and inventory information.Ensure vault department complies by balancing the vault before completion of shift.Monitor workflow, hours, and adjust staffing needs while maintaining schedules as needed to ensure quality levels of service and performance and to cover vacation & leave of absences.Ensure routes are checked in/out in an accurate and timely manner.Communicate with internal, bank, or commercial customers to address and resolve problems, special requests, and/or discrepancy situations in a timely manner.Team with management on all investigations and facility audits, monitor security tapes, backups, audits & surveillances.Coordinate with branch management on routing items and routes.Assist in on-going maintenance of SOFI, RPM or other software programs.Ensure accountability and security of all funds transiting the department.Serve as liaison with the Federal Reserve Bank, banks, thrift charters, and commercial customers to identify and resolve problems.Exercise usual supervisory authority regarding staffing, hiring, performance appraisals, promotions, salary increases, terminations, and staff development for a growing departmentEstablish and review operating systems and procedures within the branch and dependent procedures outside the department; and update as needed to ensure process effectiveness and control, accountability, and security of all cash movement and inventory informationCommunicate with internal, bank, or commercial customers to address and resolve problems, special requests, and/or discrepancy situationsAnalyze complex factors to decide appropriate actions, and resolve situations not covered by set policies or proceduresMonitor and control vaulted items such as keys, combinations, personal access list and other items as requested.This position will also assume all operational responsibilities during the absence of the Operations/Branch Manager or on an "as needed" basis.Must have the ability to perform and manage CIT operationsOther items as requested but not limited to the above description.

QUALIFICATIONS:
College degree OR 3 to 5 years background skills in professional, technical, or specialized business banking functionExperience with MS Office
Armored Service Technicians work as a team on a designated route. You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of cash and coin to Loomis customers, as well as the loading and balancing of ATM machines along your route.
