Appropriate California Teaching Credential (Non-Certificated applicants may apply under the California Administrative Code Section 5531). Preference to in-house candidates. Successful Coaching Experience: Current TB Test CPR & First Aid Familiar with the Code of Ethical Conduct published by the California Interscholastic Federation Please attach a cover letter, resume and at least 2 letters of recommendation to the online application.

Are you ready to build a legacy? We are a newer high school with a rapidly growing, energetic Swim & Dive program, and we are looking for a dynamic Head Coach to take the reins. Our roster is beautifully diverse in experience. You'll be working with athletes across the entire spectrum, including beginners learning basic skill development, proper technique, and endurance; as well as club swimmers who need advanced training, strategic tapering, and elite-level mentorship to reach the podium. Key Responsibilities: Program Leader: Serve as the CEO of the Swim & Dive program. You will set the seasonal vision, culture, and training philosophy for the entire team. Staff Management: Provide direction and collaboration for your Assistant Swim Coach and Head Dive Coach to ensure a cohesive program. Inclusive Training: Design and execute daily practice plans that challenge high-level club swimmers while safely developing novice athletes. Meet Leadership: Line up entries, manage meet strategy, and provide constructive, positive feedback to athletes during competition. Culture Builder: Foster a team environment rooted in sportsmanship, academic excellence, and mutual respect. Qualifications: Experience: Prior coaching experience (high school, club, or collegiate) is highly preferred. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage a staff, communicate effectively with parents and athletic directors, and inspire teenagers. Certifications: Must possess (or be willing to obtain prior to the season) CPR/AED, First Aid, and Safety Training for Swim Coaches. Ready to dive in?
