The LCHS soccer program competes in the North Eastern Conference and WIAA tournament series. Student-athletes participating in soccer at LCHS come from a variety of different skill levels from first year players to players who participate in travel programs. All LCHS coaches are expected to incorporate and model good character, self-discipline, respect, honesty, responsibility, and sportsmanship.

Candidates must have knowledge of the technical and fundamental aspects of soccer at an advanced level and demonstrate the ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with other coaches and administration for the benefit of an entire program. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to successfully work with and motivate student-athletes.

Preference will be given to candidates with the following:

  • Experience coaching soccer at the high school level
  • Knowledge of the existing system and WIAA soccer regulations
  • Evidence of understanding risk injury factors in soccer
  • Evidence of understanding strength and conditioning practices specific to soccer athletes
  • Experience staffing, budgeting, and scheduling for athletic programs including off-season conditioning and team programs
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with other coaches, administrators, and parents
  • Overall passion and desire to work with student-athletes
