  • Document platform configurations, processes, procedures, and operational standards.

  • Provide knowledge transfer, training, and ongoing support to internal stakeholders.

  • Participate in recurring stakeholder meetings and provide status updates, recommendations, and progress reports.

  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve data security, access governance, reporting, and compliance visibility.

Preferred Experience of the Varonis Specialist:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience administering and supporting Varonis environments.

  • Experience with Varonis SaaS and core modules such as DatAdvantage, DatAlert, and Data Classification Engine.

  • Strong understanding of data access governance, least-privilege security principles, and data protection best practices.

  • Experience creating custom reports, dashboards, and stakeholder-facing security reporting.

  • Experience investigating Varonis alerts and performing security-related analysis.

  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, file server permissions, NAS permissions, and identity management concepts.

  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 data security initiatives.

  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Experience documenting operational procedures and technical processes.

  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Experience of the Varonis Specialist:

  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise data security or governance programs.

  • Experience collaborating directly with business stakeholders to drive user adoption and reporting initiatives.

  • Understanding of compliance, audit, and regulatory requirements related to sensitive data management.
