    Description

    Value Stream Operations Supervisor (Lean/TPM)

    A day in this role

You begin with a safety huddle, confirming required trainings are current and monthly safety initiatives are on track. You walk the line, coach operators on safe work practices, and verify standard work is followed. Next, you review customer demand, align production schedules to meet delivery and quality targets, and address any bottlenecks. A quality alert prompts you to lead a quick root-cause session and implement sustainable corrective actions. Throughout the shift, you drive TPM activities—Autonomous Maintenance and Focused Improvement—while developing your team through clear expectations, feedback, and training plans. You close the day analyzing cost, productivity, and waste data to reinforce continuous improvement and resource planning.

    What you'll do

    • Coordinate required safety training, lead monthly safety initiatives, and ensure timely incident follow-up actions.
    • Coach and model safe behaviors; enforce compliance with operational standards and standard work.
    • Translate customer requirements into achievable production plans that protect delivery commitments and quality expectations.
    • Investigate quality concerns, conduct root-cause analysis, and partner with operators to implement durable corrective actions.
    • Advance TPM and continuous improvement, including Autonomous Maintenance and Focused Improvement routines.
    • Lead, coach, and develop hourly associates with clear goals, regular feedback, thorough documentation, and targeted training plans.
    • Reduce cost, lift productivity, and eliminate waste through standard work, resource planning, and disciplined problem-solving.

    What you bring
