Job Title: Value Added Operator (1st Shift; 3 Openings,1-Year Contract Assignment)
Location:Arden, NC 28704 
Pay rate: $17.83/hr 
Work schedule: 1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM EST (40.0 hours/week) (Strong possibility for overtime; weekend availability required as needed)

Overview
The Value-Added Operator I executes light product assembly, customized relabeling, material movement, and order processing at Hubbell's Arden, NC distribution facility. Working under the guidance of the Group Lead, this position maintains productivity tracking records, assists with work order preparation, operates warehouse material handling equipment, and enforces 5S housekeeping and plant safety standards to ensure timely customer order fulfillment.

Job Specifications

• Perform small-component assemblies, product relabeling, and order packaging according to operational specifications
• Utilize order pickers, reach trucks, and warehouse equipment to transfer inventory and support material flow across work centers
• Log daily productivity metrics and submit operational reports to management
• Assist the Group Lead in preparing daily work assignments and organizing staging areas
• Maintain a clean, organized work area (5S standards) and comply with all safety regulations
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Basic computer literacy required; working knowledge of SAP/R3 software preferred
• Prior material handling experience operating order pickers and reach trucks preferred
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and oral instructions in English
• Physical capability: Ability to lift up to 35 lbs unassisted, bend, stand, and move continuously throughout the shift
