About the Role

This position involves performing diamond repair inspections within a watchroom environment. The primary focus is to identify diamonds that require repair, accurately document inspection data, and ensure quality standards are maintained. Attention to detail and basic computer skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect diamonds to determine repair needs and assess quality.
• Enter diamond inspection and quality data into the company database accurately.
• Review and verify diamond details during inspection processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area within the watchroom.
• Follow standard protocols for handling and inspecting diamonds.
• Assist in quality control processes related to diamond repairs.
• Handle diamonds weighing up to 20 lbs during inspections.
• Record data systematically using alpha and numeric data entry skills.
• Support general office functions related to diamond documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding diamond status and quality issues.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail throughout inspection and data entry tasks.

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in data entry with alpha and numeric skills.
• Experience with order entry operations.
• General office experience.
• Data entry clerk or data input experience at a clerk level.
