Summary:
We are seeking an Engineering Contractor to support product release activities within a regulated medical device environment. This role is heavily documentation-focused and will support validation, packaging, and controlled documentation activities to ensure compliant product releases. The contractor will primarily work with existing templates to author and execute validation documentation, with limited hands-on equipment involvement as needed for troubleshooting.
We are seeking an Engineering Contractor to support product release activities within a regulated medical device environment. This role is heavily documentation-focused and will support validation, packaging, and controlled documentation activities to ensure compliant product releases. The contractor will primarily work with existing templates to author and execute validation documentation, with limited hands-on equipment involvement as needed for troubleshooting.
Required / Mandatory Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a regulated medical device environment
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with packaging validation
- Strong experience with controlled documentation
- Hands-on experience authoring, executing, and reviewing IQ/OQ/PQ documentation
- Working knowledge of FDA QSR and ISO 13485 requirements
- Experience supporting packaging process validation and product release activities
- Familiarity with sterile barrier system validation standards (ASTM F88/F88M, F1929, F2096, F1980)
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in an onsite environment
