Job SummaryWe're looking for a Vacuum Furnace Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you'll install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair high-temperature vacuum furnace systems used in the processing of critical aerospace components. You'll play a key role in ensuring thermal processing equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably while supporting production, quality, and customer requirements.

Shift: 3rd shift, Sunday-Thursday 10:30p-6:30aShift Differential: $3.00
What You'll Be Doing
Troubleshoot and repair vacuum furnace, heat treat, and supporting equipmentDiagnose electrical, mechanical, vacuum, and control system issuesPerform preventative maintenance on pumps, valves, seals, power supplies, and furnace componentsSet up and monitor furnace cycles to support production requirementsPerform calibration and pyrometry activities as requiredRead electrical and mechanical schematics to troubleshoot equipment problemsComplete maintenance and repair documentationSupport production by minimizing equipment downtimeFollow all quality, safety, environmental, and company standardsSupport Lean and continuous improvement initiativesMaintain a clean and organized work area
What We're Looking For
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.Ability to clearly communicate in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and understanding technical documentation.Technical training, military experience, or equivalent industrial maintenance experience4+ years of experience maintaining industrial vacuum furnaces, heat treat equipment, or similar manufacturing equipmentStrong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skillsAbility to read electrical and mechanical schematicsExperience using hand tools, test equipment, and diagnostic instrumentsFamiliarity with PLC-controlled equipmentStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamReliable attendance and punctuality
Nice to Have
Experience in aerospace or precision manufacturingKnowledge of AMS 2750 and pyrometry requirementsPLC troubleshooting experienceLean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience
