Vacuum Equipment Operator

Overview: This position works inside chemical plants operating equipment that recovers plastic scrap from tanks, railcars, sump ponds and other areas within the work site. · Effectively communicate with facility managers, plant supervisors, plant operations and safety personnel and other employees in a timely and professional manner.

This position works inside chemical plants operating equipment that recovers plastic scrap from tanks, railcars, sump ponds and other areas within the work site.

Qualifications:

· Experience working in a chemical plant is highly preferred

· Excellent communication skills; verbal and written

· Ability to effectively coordinate with coworkers and clients

· Ability to work under pressure and time sensitive deadlines

· Experience with Vacuum Equipment is preferred

Responsibilities:

 

· Safely operate vacuum equipment

· Work in a team environment

· Adhere to all safety policies set by supervisors and chemical plant personnel

· Effectively communicate with facility managers, plant supervisors, plant operations and safety personnel and other employees in a timely and professional manner

· Other duties may be assigned.
