    The Vactor Truck Operator is responsible for driving and operating equipment for a specialized construction support service position The work can be physically demanding but above all else, it is extremely rewarding! Your success will directly impact the environment & quality of water in your community!

    **Opportunities for Prevailing Wage / Premium Wage work once Vac Truck Operator demonstrates required skills and abilities.**

    Specific duties include:

    • Drive and operate trucks and equipment, pre-trip preparations and post trip clean up
    • Clean catch basins, man holes, crawl spaces, hydro-excavate, and other duties as assigned and required
    • Conduct all duties in professional, courteous and customer service focused manner
    • Conduct all duties safely and maintain safety awareness at all times
    • Proactive team player who leads by example

    Basic requirements:

    • At least 1 year recent work experience as CDL Class B driver
    • Experience driving and operating industrial vacuum trucks preferred but not required
    • Ideal candidate is mechanically inclined and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
    • Valid CDL Class B, ability to acquire a DOT health card and maintain insurable status under company auto policy are ongoing requirements of this position.
    • Flexible schedule with ability to work evenings, weekends, OT
    • Proficient with mobile technology (i.e. iPads, laptops, email, etc.)
    • This is a Safety Sensitive DOT regulated position with drug screening required.
    • This position is designated as safety-sensitive and involves operating DOT-regulated vehicles, which requires inclusion of marijuana in the drug testing program.
