Summary:
About the Role: Seeking a UX Researcher to support product and experience research across a family of products. In this temporary assignment, you will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to help identify user needs, evaluate concepts and experiences, and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations. This is a temporary role and is not a full-time employment opportunity.
Job Responsibilities:
Plan and execute end-to-end UX research using appropriate qualitative and/or quantitative methods (e.g., interviews, usability testing, diary studies, surveys, concept testing).
Develop research plans, discussion guides, and study materials aligned to project goals.
Conduct analysis and synthesize findings into insights, frameworks, and recommendations. Must be very comfortable with utilizing AI tools in each phase of the research workflow.
Present research findings to stakeholders in clear, concise deliverables (readouts, reports, and/or workshops).
Collaborate with cross-functional partners (e.g., Product, Design, Content, Data Science) to inform product direction and improve user experience.
Support rapid research cycles to inform iterative product development.
Must haves:
Strong quantitative research skills — designing, fielding, and analyzing large/complex surveys.
Core UX research craft: method selection, translating findings into actionable product/design recommendations.
Strong stakeholder influence — ability to build relationships with and present to leadership in a horizontal, collaborative org.
Prior experience in similar environments.
Nice to haves:
Strong sense of curiosity; receptive to feedback; comfortable with ambiguity.
Vendor/supplier management, including giving performance feedback.
Mixed-method and qual depth; tracker build experience; familiarity with AI tools; consumer/messaging domain.
AI native.
Education/Experience:
10 years experience or 5 years of experience conducting UX research or human-centered research (industry, consulting, or equivalent).
Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
