Description As a UX Operations Specialist, you are able to identify opportunities for UX excellence, self-direct your work, communicate its impact, and are starting to influence relevant cross-functional partners. You demonstrate business acumen, competence in program management, user analytics, and organizational enablement skills. You take accountability of scoping, planning, and delivering a program that accomplishes product goals, improves user insights and analytics, and/or fosters organizational effectiveness. You integrate perspectives on opportunities and risk mitigation strategies across stakeholders to drive OKR alignment, and generate program buy-in and momentum. You develop best practice initiatives and set up tools, programs and resources to facilitate successful completion of team projects from a user-centered perspective. Responsibilities include:
- Develop a point of view on priorities that are not serving the user or teams and dependencies between programs with an area. With some input and in collaboration with cross-functional partners, develop a process by which a team can conduct strategic planning.
- Those in UX analytics-focused roles, run and implement analytical efforts for broader or cross-functional projects, programs, and strategies that have direct and meaningful impact on the business.
- Develop business cases and engagement with partners on continuous improvements and optimizations. Develop measurable, scalable, and repeatable processes/tools that drive seamless cross-functional collaborations/handoffs. Proactively confirm the outcome of project work throughout implementation and provide follow ups/adjustments as needed. Verify that the solution applied solved the issues and take responsibility for the final result.
- Contribute to the definition, integration and reporting of key UX metrics that drive a culture of user-centered development based on program needs and stakeholder input. Establish baselines, track, report, and drive cross-functional alignment on UX metrics. Those in UX analytics-focused roles, build systems to capture, track, and report UX impact metrics and influence program plans based on gaps and opportunities with some guidance. Navigate data access issues with other teams and apply judgment to integrate data to build a cohesive picture.
- Drive collaboration across UX teams, execute quickly with limited guidance and program manage large working groups independently by managing complexity and turning chaos into efficient organization. Focus on the team's overall impact on the org. Develop rich relationships with stakeholders and partner teams to understand their goals and how to help achieve those goals through prioritization, collaboration and ensure objectives are met. Scope and scale work by actively demonstrating the ability to build connections and synergies with other teams and areas of expertise. Manage complexity throughout the UX product lifecycle, ensuring there's effective collaboration across UX teams.
- Build and leverage strong collaborative relationships with appropriate stakeholders in order to scope or scale work. Communicate effectively in formal and informal settings, challenge appropriately in meetings, and have a deep understanding of the UX community's needs, how those needs are met and where else value can be added keeping the user in mind. Create and deliver impactful communication for diverse audiences, including independently developed narrative/analysis. Follow project deliverables through implementation and/or landings to ensure high-quality outcomes by providing follow ups as needed or retrospectives.Minimum role qualification requires proficiency in:
