    Description

    IDR is seeking a UX Designer. The role is a remote contractual position with Mayo Clinic Laboratories, based in Rochester, Minnesota. As a UX Designer, you will help design and deliver modern digital products and workflows to improve user experiences, enable key business capabilities, and support an agile, product-focused organization. This role combines hands-on design work with collaboration across teams to create impactful digital solutions.

    Position Overview for the UX Designer:

    • Produce user interface designs with demonstrated impact, utilizing tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
    • Create prototypes, interaction flow diagrams, wireframes, and interface specifications following modern digital design principles.
    • Address accessibility concerns for digital products, including optimization for assistive technologies.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to articulate complex design problems and solutions via strong communication and presentation skills.
    • Support the development of content design, UX writing, and content strategy for digital products and websites.

    Requirements for the UX Designer:

    • At least five (5) years of experience producing user interface designs with demonstrated impact.
    • Bachelors degree.
    • Experience with: Using user interface design software such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
    • HTML, CSS, and the basics of front-end web development.
    • Content design, UX writing, and the basics of digital marketing, search engine optimization, and content strategy.
