Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior UX Designer to create and optimize customer-facing digital experiences that improve engagement, discoverability, and conversion across web and marketing platforms. This role will partner closely with content, SEO, analytics, marketing, and technology teams to design intuitive user experiences that perform well across both traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered search experiences.

The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in UX design, information architecture, content strategy, analytics-driven decision making, and customer journey optimization. Experience with Figma, enterprise CMS platforms, SEO, and digital experience design is essential.

Project Details:

This role supports a large-scale AI Discoverability initiative focused on improving how digital content is surfaced, consumed, and engaged with across both traditional search and AI-driven search experiences.

The team is responsible for enhancing customer-facing websites, product pages, and digital journeys through UX improvements, content optimization, information architecture, SEO, AI Optimization (AIO), and analytics-driven design.

The current focus is on evaluating existing experiences, identifying modernization opportunities, and designing scalable solutions that improve discoverability, engagement, and conversion.

The project is highly collaborative, involving partnerships with design, content, marketing, SEO, analytics, and technology teams within an Agile environment.

Must Haves

  • 5+ years of experience in UX Design, Product Design, Experience Design, or a related field
  • Strong portfolio showcasing UX strategy, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and visual design
  • Experience designing websites, digital storefronts, marketing pages, or customer-facing digital experiences
  • Strong understanding of content strategy, content hierarchy, customer journeys, and conversion optimization
  • Experience applying SEO best practices within digital experiences
  • Familiarity with AI-powered search, AI Optimization (AIO), or evolving search experiences
  • Experience using analytics and customer insights to drive design decisions
  • Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or a similar enterprise CMS platform
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including content, marketing, SEO, analytics, and development
  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to create user flows, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
  • Strong understanding of accessibility and usability best practices
  • Must be able to work onsite 5 days per week in Charlotte, NC
  • US Citizen or Green Card Holder only (W2 only)

Desired Skills

  • Experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics (GA4), or similar analytics platforms
  • Experience partnering closely with SEO, content strategy, digital marketing, or customer acquisition teams
  • Understanding of AI Optimization (AIO), Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and AI-driven search experiences
  • Experience designing within enterprise design systems and component-based frameworks
  • Experience conducting usability testing, A/B testing, and conversion rate optimization initiatives
  • Familiarity with customer journey mapping and behavioral analytics tools
  • Experience creating content-rich experiences that balance user needs, business goals, and search discoverability
  • Experience working in highly regulated industries such as financial services, banking, healthcare, or insurance
  • Experience supporting large-scale website redesigns, modernization efforts, or digital transformation initiatives
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
  • Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including UX, content, SEO, marketing, analytics, and engineering
  • Familiarity with enterprise CMS platforms and content publishing workflows
  • Understanding of emerging AI search trends and their impact on digital experience design
  • Experience leveraging data and customer insights to drive UX recommendations and business outcomes
