    Job Summary

    The Utility Worker is responsible for providing general support throughout the manufacturing facility. This position performs a variety of production, material handling, and general labor duties as needed to support safe and efficient operations. The Utility Worker may be assigned to different departments or work areas based on production needs.

    Job Description

    Role Overview

    Assist with daily production operations as directed by supervision.

    Perform a variety of general labor and manufacturing duties in different areas of the facility.

    Move, stack, organize, and transport materials, parts, and finished products.

    Assist machine operators and production employees as needed.

    Load and unload materials and products.

    Perform basic assembly, packaging, sorting, and inspection duties.

    Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

    Remove scrap, waste, and other materials from work areas.

    Assist with machine setup, changeovers, and general production support when trained and assigned.

    Conduct basic quality inspections to ensure products meet established standards.

    Operate equipment, tools, pallet jacks, forklifts, or other machinery when properly trained and authorized.

    Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.

    Report safety hazards, equipment issues, quality concerns, or other problems to supervision.

    Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

    Perform other duties as assigned based on business and production needs.

    Qualifications

    Education & Experience

    High school diploma or equivalent required

    Technical coursework, vocational training, or mechanical aptitude preferred

    0-2 years of experience in utilities, facilities, maintenance, manufacturing, or industrial operations environments preferred

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    Basic mechanical or technical aptitude

    Ability to follow detailed procedures and safety rules

    Strong attention to detail and observation skills

    Effective communication and teamwork skills

    Physical ability to perform hands‑on operational tasks
