### Position Summary
The Utility Worker is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the restaurant's front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) areas. This position requires an individual who is self-motivated, dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
The Utility Worker will assist with putting away truck deliveries, completing detailed cleaning assignments, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized restaurant environment in accordance with company standards. This role is essential to supporting restaurant operations, food safety, sanitation, and overall facility maintenance.
### Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Truck Delivery and Organization
- Assist with unloading and putting away truck deliveries in a timely and organized manner.
- Rotate products using the First In, First Out (FIFO) method.
- Ensure products are stored in the appropriate designated locations.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness in walk-in coolers, freezers, dry storage areas, and other designated storage spaces.
- Follow proper food safety, temperature control, and product-handling procedures.
2. Detailed Cleaning and Sanitation
- Complete assigned deep-cleaning tasks throughout the restaurant's BOH and FOH areas.
- Clean walls, ceiling tiles, vents, baseboards, doors, and other surfaces as assigned.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, exterior equipment surfaces, shelving, and designated work areas according to company procedures.
- Clean floors, corners, and hard-to-reach areas that may be overlooked during routine cleaning.
- Maintain detailed cleanliness in restrooms, dining areas, customer entryways, and other FOH spaces.
- Clean behind and underneath equipment and furniture when safe and appropriate.
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to product instructions and company safety requirements.
3. Restaurant Appearance and Organization
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance throughout the restaurant.
- Follow assigned cleaning schedules and complete tasks within established timeframes.
- Take initiative to identify areas needing attention without waiting for management to provide constant direction.
- Ensure completed work meets company cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance standards.
- Assist with additional facility maintenance and cleaning projects as directed by management.

### Part-Time Schedule
This is a part-time position. Scheduled hours will be determined by restaurant needs and management.
The Utility Worker must be flexible and dependable when scheduled and must use assigned work hours productively to complete designated tasks.
