Nesco Resource is hiring for Utility Helper in Shelbyville, TN area, 1st shift (7:00 am -3:30 pm), OT as needed.

Position Summary

The Utility Helper supports press operations by ensuring operators have the materials, supplies, and equipment needed to maintain efficient production. This role is responsible for transporting materials, stocking supplies, maintaining organization, and assisting with production support tasks throughout the shift.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Transport work orders between production lines and production bays.
• Deliver paper, dies, leaf, chemicals, tools, and other production materials to press operators.
• Keep production bays clean, organized, and free of unnecessary clutter.
• Record production numbers and other required data throughout the shift.
• Monitor and replenish ink supplies as needed.
• Ensure die wipe supplies remain fully stocked.
• Refill Kluge oil jugs and maintain adequate production fluid levels.
• Assist in maintaining a steady workflow by minimizing downtime for press operators.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or production experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Dependable with excellent attendance and a positive attitude.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the workday.
• Lift and carry materials weighing up to 25-30 pounds.
• Work safely around production equipment and moving machinery while using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
