Utility Operator

The Utility Operator supports thermal spray coating production by preparing, processing, and inspecting customer parts used primarily in aerospace and power generation applications. This role involves masking parts, grit blasting, deburring, grinding, performing visual inspections, following work instructions, completing production documentation, and maintaining quality and safety standards. The Utility Operator is cross-trained across multiple production areas and requires the use of hand tools, attention to detail, and adherence to PPE and workplace safety procedures.

• Mask customer parts for thermal spray coating applications.
• Perform grit blasting and surface preparation of parts.
• Deburr and grind parts to ensure smooth surfaces.
• Conduct visual inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
• Follow detailed work instructions and procedures.
• Complete production documentation and maintain inventory control.
• Adhere to safety and compliance standards, including PPE requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency.

This is a Contract position based out of Hebron, KY.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
