We Are Seeking
Team Gilbert has an exciting opportunity for a reliable, safety-minded professional to join our Water team as a Utility Locator. This is hands-on, outdoor work where youll play a critical role in keeping our communitys infrastructure safe and operational.
As a Utility Locator, youll spend your days in the field identifying and marking underground utilities-water lines, sewer, fiber optic cables, storm drains, and more-before any digging begins. Youll use specialized locating equipment, read blueprints and maps, and work directly with contractors and crews to prevent damage to Gilberts underground infrastructure.
This role reports to the Water Utility Supervisor and requires someone who takes pride in doing quality work, works well with others, and is committed to safety on every job.
What Youll Do:
These positions are At-Will position and is FLSA Non-Exempt - eligible for overtime compensation.

This position requires a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions for this position include: This role involves working primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions, as well as exposure to confined spaces and hazardous environments. Physical demands include regular lifting (occasionally up to 50 lbs and frequently up to 20 lbs), climbing, kneeling, and other manual tasks. The position operates on a schedule of four (4) ten-hour shifts per week.
