Job Title: Utility Inspector
Job Description
The Utility Inspector plays a key role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and compliance of water mains and other utility-related infrastructure. This position focuses on inspecting assets in the field, documenting conditions and deficiencies, coordinating construction-related services, and preparing accurate technical documentation. The role offers a long-term career opportunity within one of the largest engineering consulting firms in the country, supporting end-to-end project delivery from planning through ongoing operations.

Work Environment
This role is a full-time position at 40 hours per week, working Monday through Friday in a fully remote-from-the-field capacity. Utility Inspectors perform their duties in the field, traveling between sites using their personal vehicle and receiving mileage reimbursement at the current GSA rate. The position involves regular use of inspection tools, equipment, tablets, mobile applications, and reporting software to capture and transmit data. Training is provided for all necessary tools, processes, and technical standards. The organization offers a trusted, established infrastructure consulting environment with over 75 years of experience and an end-to-end project delivery model, along with standard holiday pay and one week of paid time off.
This position will start at $25/hr. Given the size and resources of the company, there is virtually unlimited room for growth.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
