Overview
We are looking for a dependable Industrial Utilities Technician to operate, monitor, and maintain ammonia refrigeration systems, boilers, and other plant equipment. This position helps keep equipment running safely and reduces downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor ammonia refrigeration systems and boilers.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on boilers, air compressors, HVAC, and other utility equipment.
- Check equipment readings and respond to alarms or breakdowns.
- Troubleshoot problems and help get equipment running again.
- Follow safety procedures, including ammonia safety and Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements.
- Complete work orders, document repairs, and communicate equipment issues to the maintenance team.
Qualifications & Skills
- Basic knowledge of mechanical maintenance and industrial equipment.
- Ability to identify equipment problems and respond to alarms.
- Understanding of industrial safety procedures.
- Ability to troubleshoot, follow instructions, and work independently or as part of a team.
