Job Title: Utilities Project Engineer Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Expansion

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Utilities Project Engineer to support the engineering and execution of utilities infrastructure, facility systems, and supporting infrastructure for new manufacturing trains and associated facilities.
The successful candidate will have pharmaceutical or biotech project experience, a strong understanding of GMP utility systems, and experience coordinating engineering activities across design, construction, CQV, and Facilities/Operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support engineering execution for utilities infrastructure and facility systems supporting new GMP manufacturing areas
- Coordinate and review engineering and project documentation, including P&IDs, RFIs, technical submittals, and utility design packages
- Ensure utility systems and designs meet manufacturing, operational, and GMP requirements
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams, construction teams, CQV, Facilities, and Operations
- Support construction coordination, field engineering, and project execution activities
- Identify, investigate, and help resolve design gaps, utility system conflicts, interface issues, and constructability concerns
- Coordinate across multiple engineering disciplines to support successful project execution
- Support utility and facility systems including Clean Utilities, Dark Utilities, Hydronics Systems, HVAC/Air Handling Systems, Boiler Systems, Utility Distribution Systems, and GMP facility infrastructure
Required / Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of engineering or project experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or a closely related regulated manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience supporting pharmaceutical or biotech capital projects
- Strong understanding of GMP utility systems and facility infrastructure
- Experience supporting large-scale capital expansion or manufacturing facility projects
- Ability to coordinate engineering activities across multiple disciplines and project stakeholders
- Strong experience working with engineering/design documentation, construction teams, and field execution
- Strong problem-solving, communication, coordination, and project execution skills
- Experience working with Engineering, Construction, CQV, Facilities, and Operations teams is preferred
