You Are:
The ArcGIS Utility Network Consultant will support the design, configuration, and implementation of ArcGIS Utility Network solutions for electric and gas utility clients. Working alongside senior solution architects and project leadership, this role will help clients modernize legacy GIS environments while supporting the transition from traditional geometric network models to the ArcGIS Utility Network platform.
The Consultant will contribute to functional design, business process analysis, application configuration, testing, and implementation activities while partnering with client stakeholders and cross-functional delivery teams. This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale utility transformation programs focused on improving grid operations, asset management, field mobility, and enterprise GIS capabilities.
The Work:
Support the implementation of ArcGIS Utility Network solutions for electric and gas utility clients.
Participate in requirements gathering, business process analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
Assist in translating utility business requirements into ArcGIS Utility Network capabilities and functional workflows.
Support the migration from legacy GIS environments (including ArcGIS Geometric Network) to ArcGIS Utility Network using industry best practices.
Collaborate with senior solution architects, technical teams, and client stakeholders to deliver high-quality GIS solutions.
Contribute to workshops, design sessions, system demonstrations, user acceptance testing, and end-user training activities.
Support integration efforts between GIS and enterprise platforms including Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Work Management, Outage Management Systems (OMS), Customer Information Systems (CIS), and field mobility solutions.
Develop project documentation, functional specifications, process flows, and client-ready deliverables.
Collaborate across business and technology teams to help clients modernize GIS capabilities and improve operational performance.
Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements
