The USW Program Analyst will be at the forefront of naval capabilities, directly supporting the testing, evaluation, and operational readiness of newly installed and backfitted acoustic systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive Test and Evaluation (T&E) on both newly installed and backfit Sonar Systems aboard DDG Class Navy Destroyers
  • Travel frequently to fleet concentration areas to support on-site testing, system integration, and operational assessments
  • Analyze test data to ensure systems meet required performance specifications and mission capability requirements
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, fleet operators, and program management to resolve technical issues identified during testing

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in sonar operations and technical support of Advanced Capability Build (ACB) systems
  • Must possess and maintain an active Secret security clearance
  • Strong understanding of DDG Class combat systems and undersea warfare tactics, techniques, and procedures
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively to various fleet concentration areas as mission requirements dictate
