Description
Job Description: As a User Acquisition Data Analyst on the Mobile Growth Marketing team, you'll step into an established analytics function and keep it running during a team member's leave. Your focus is continuity: delivering the recurring reporting and forecasting cadence that the UA, Finance, and leadership teams rely on, running ad-hoc deep dives that guide campaign and creative optimization, and keeping dashboards and data pipelines healthy. As capacity allows, you'll also take on new dashboard and data-model development. This is a hands-on role for an analyst who can ramp quickly, operate independently in a live UA environment, and pick up an existing cadence without heavy onboarding.
What Your Impact Will Be
Own the recurring UA reporting cadence — daily performance monitoring, the weekly UA performance review, weekly budget pacing for Finance, and the monthly UA committee report — covering cost, CPI, installs, retention, and revenue, split by channel, platform, and geo.
Turn report outputs into decisions by layering in the interpretation: weekly insight on channel efficiency, media mix, and optimization levers for the UA and product teams.
Partner with UA and Finance on forecasting — paid CPI estimates and daily/weekly/monthly budget and paid-install projections against monthly budgets.
Run ad-hoc deep dives to guide optimization: which campaigns and creatives to scale up or down, plus statistical-significance checks on IPM, CTR, CVR, and ROAS.
Maintain data integrity and dashboards — reconcile data across attribution (Singular), Firebase, SKAN, and store consoles; troubleshoot dashboard, automated-report, and MMP configuration issues; and partner with the data/platform team on pipeline health.
Build as capacity allows — new MixPanel, Looker Studio, and Tableau dashboards on request, and support for new data-model design.
Support cross-portfolio data work (scope TBD) — data audits across multiple sources (MMP, ad partners, store/console data, and other analytics tools) and support for a BigQuery data migration alongside the data/platform team.
What We're Looking For
3–5 years in marketing analytics or data science supporting mobile user acquisition
Advanced SQL (ideally BigQuery), with the ability to work independently in a live data environment from day one
Strong dashboarding and data-visualization skills in Tableau, Looker Studio, and/or Mixpanel
Solid grasp of mobile UA metrics and attribution — MMP data, SKAN, and store/console reporting
Comfort translating analysis into clear, decision-ready insight for UA, Finance, and leadership audiences
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with hybrid monetization models (IAP + IAA) and mobile gaming user behavior
Python or R for statistical modeling and automation
Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests, geo-lift, or incrementality studies
Familiarity with data reconciliation across multiple attribution sources and consistent taxonomy standards
