Used Car Technician Responsibilities
- Performing Oil Changes , Quick Lubes and Used Car inspections in an efficient manner
- Light Duty Repair work- Wipers, Air & Cabin Filters, Battery testing
- Perform multi point inspection and video inspection
- Performing 200 point CPO used car inspection
- Performing minor recall repairs
- Providing the Service Advisor with an estimate of any additional repairs needed
- Keep work area clean at all times
- Be reliable and on time
Job Requirements
- Have tools
- Hours are Monday to Friday 7:30 to 4:30 and Rotation on Saturday's 8 to 4
- Preferably have at least 1 years of experience as an Oil Change Technician
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Pass a drug and background check
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
- Knowledge in some aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
- A fast learner with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ensures Customer Vehicles are kept clean and treated with respect
- Must be a helpful Team Player
- Maintain a neat, clean and orderly work station
Skills/Qualifications
- General knowledge of automobiles
- Good Communication
- Good Mathematical and Reading skills
- Ability to learn new technology
- Ability to learn new Service techniques and procedures
