Sands Chevrolet Surprise is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Used Car Reconditioning Technician to join our team in Surprise, AZ. In this role, you will play a crucial part in preparing our used vehicles for sale by ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and appearance.
Responsibilities
- Inspect used vehicles thoroughly for any mechanical, cosmetic, or safety issues.
- Perform necessary repairs, maintenance, and detailing to bring vehicles up to dealership standards.
- Coordinate with service and sales departments to prioritize reconditioning tasks and ensure timely vehicle turnaround.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed on each vehicle.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in automotive reconditioning, detailing, or mechanical repair preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify vehicle issues accurately.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and perform mechanical repairs.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Must be able to lift and work in physically demanding environments.
- Valid driver’s license.
