Subaru of Jacksonville is hiring a high-energy New & Used Car Sales Consultant to join our award-winning dealership team. In this role, you will help customers find the perfect vehicle—whether it’s a new Subaru or a certified pre-owned or used car from our large inventory. You’ll guide customers through the full automotive sales process, conduct test drives, present pricing and financing options, and deliver an exceptional customer experience from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Greet, assist, and engage customers in the showroom, on the lot, and through phone/online leads

  • Conduct vehicle walk-arounds, product presentations, and test drives

  • Present and explain new Subaru models and all pre-owned/used vehicles

  • Provide transparent pricing, lease/finance options, warranties, and service plans

  • Assist customers with trade-ins, appraisals, and vehicle valuation

  • Work closely with F&I, Service, BDC, and Sales Management teams

  • Maintain accurate CRM notes, follow-up processes, and sales documentation

  • Meet or exceed monthly sales volume, customer satisfaction, and performance goals

  • Build long-term relationships that drive referral and repeat business

  • Ensure timely vehicle delivery and customer follow-up after the sale

 

 

 

What You Bring:

 

  • Prior experience as a Car Salesperson, Automotive Sales Consultant, Car Sales Representative, or retail sales professional preferred

  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills

  • Proven ability to negotiate, overcome objections, and close deals

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • Ability to work evenings/weekends as needed

  • High comfort level with technology and CRM systems

  • Professional appearance and positive, self-motivated attitude

 

 

 

Preferred Skills:

 

  • Subaru brand knowledge

  • Automotive finance, leasing, or F&I familiarity

  • Experience selling used cars, appraising trade-ins, or working in a dealership environment

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
