ANDERSEN is seeking an experienced Usability Researcher to lead end-to-end research studies, guiding projects from stakeholder intake and study design through execution, analysis, and delivery of actionable insights. This high-impact role partners closely with product teams to uncover customer needs and shape experiences that influence millions of users.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead rapid research studies from stakeholder intake through final recommendations
- Conduct usability testing, early concept testing, interviews, surveys, and mixed-method research
- Create research plans, participant screeners, discussion guides, and testing materials
- Screen, recruit, and coordinate research participants
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data and translate findings into actionable insights
- Present research results to product, design, and engineering stakeholders
- Follow privacy, security, accessibility, and PII-handling requirements
- Deliver high-quality research within expected timelines

1. Usability Testing, 4+ Years
- Strong experience independently planning and executing usability studies
- Experience conducting early concept and design-phase research
- Ability to select appropriate qualitative, quantitative, or mixed research methods
2. Participant Screening and Recruitment, 4+ Years
- Experience developing participant screeners and recruiting appropriate research audiences
- Ability to coordinate research participation while following privacy and security requirements
- Experience managing participant communications and research logistics
3. Research Writing and Insights Reporting, 5+ Years
- Strong ability to synthesize research data into concise, actionable findings
- Experience writing research reports and presenting recommendations to stakeholders

Education
- Master’s degree in a related field with 1+ year of UX research experience, or
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 2+ years of UX research experience, or
- Equivalent professional experience
