Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role
Solution Architecture
•Define end-to-end architecture for reporting, analytics, and data integration solutions.
•Assess existing Oracle BI landscapes and recommend modernization strategies.
•Design scalable and secure reporting architectures leveraging Oracle and Microsoft technologies.
•Drive technology roadmap discussions and architecture governance.
Oracle Analytics & Reporting
•Lead design, development, and optimization of OBIEE reports, dashboards, and semantic models.
•Analyze and optimize OBIEE RPD models and reporting frameworks.
•Define reporting standards, data governance, and best practices.
Data Integration & ETL
•Design and oversee ETL processes for data movement and transformation.
•Work with source systems, staging environments, and data warehouses.
•Ensure data quality, reconciliation, and performance optimization across data pipelines.
Oracle EBS Finance
•Partner with Finance stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
•Translate Oracle EBS business processes into analytical and reporting solutions.
•Support reporting across:

Database & PL/SQL Development
•Design and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL solutions.
•Perform database performance tuning and query optimization.
•Develop packages, procedures, functions, materialized views, and data extraction frameworks.
Power BI Modernization
•Design and develop Power BI dashboards and executive reporting solutions.
•Define data models, measures, KPIs, and visualization standards.
•Support migration and coexistence strategies between OBIEE and Power BI.
•Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and Power BI governance practices.
Stakeholder Management
•Engage with business and executive stakeholders to gather requirements and present solutions.
•Lead solution workshops and architecture discussions.
•Provide technical leadership and mentorship to project teams.
