Our client, a global energy technology and industrial manufacturing leader, is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer – Supplier Production Systems to join their team. As a Senior Industrial Engineer, you will be part of the Strategic Procurement / Supplier Development department supporting Global Procurement, Engineering, and Operations teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical thinking, stakeholder influence, and problem-solving skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Senior Industrial Engineer – Supplier Production Systems Location: Houston, TX / Orlando, FL / Charlotte, NC (Onsite) Pay Range: $68 - $73 per hour
What’s the Job?
Diagnose supplier production constraints and drive improvements in capacity, flow, and stability
Lead initiatives such as bottleneck analysis, lead-time reduction, and KPI system implementation
Partner cross-functionally to translate business priorities into supplier development actions
Support and coach suppliers to enhance manufacturing capability and operational performance
Develop and scale standardized tools, playbooks, and best practices across global teams
What’s Needed?
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Production Engineering
Experience improving production systems in complex manufacturing environments
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, capacity planning, and process optimization
Ability to influence stakeholders and work across matrix/global organizations
Willingness to travel internationally up to 40%
Must Have
Hands-on experience in manufacturing / production environments (not purely theoretical)
Proven track record driving Lean / Continuous Improvement initiatives
Experience with capacity analysis, bottleneck identification, or throughput optimization
Exposure to working with suppliers, vendors, or external manufacturing partners
