PRN Pharmacist -
Primary Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of this role include:
Ensuring the accurate, efficient, and complete processing and dispensing of prescriptions.
Overseeing all pharmacy recordkeeping, licensing, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable state and federal pharmacy regulations.
Reviewing, updating, and adhering to pharmacy policies, protocols, and procedures to maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Collaborating and communicating effectively with pharmacists, including those at remote locations, and with Third-Party Logistics personnel to resolve operational and patient-related issues.
Maintaining all required documentation, including exception reports and other regulatory records.
Ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality assurance standards, Joint Commission (JCAHO) requirements, state and federal regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), where applicable.
Performing additional pharmacy-related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (B.S. Pharmacy) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
Active and unrestricted Arizona Pharmacist license.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy, regulatory compliance, and attention to detail in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.
