Inventory Operations Specialist (Temporary Contractor)

Job Summary
This temporary contract role provides leave coverage to support business waste disposal and transportation carrier claims activities across ***'s logistics network. Responsibilities include managing waste disposal reporting, vendor invoicing, carrier claims recovery, and operational dashboards while partnering with 3PLs, transportation teams, and external vendors. The role helps ensure operational continuity, compliance, and timely reporting during a temporary staffing gap.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile and distribute waste disposal reports and monitor site compliance.
• 
  
• Process waste disposal vendor invoices and support vendor performance reviews.
• 
  
• Manage transportation carrier claims, recovery efforts, and weekly claims reporting.
• 
  
• Lead regular meetings with vendors, claims administrators, and transportation teams.
• 
  
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
• 
  
• Provide regular updates and reporting to logistics leadership.
• 
  

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, inventory, or related operations.

• Strong Excel, reporting, and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  Note: This is a temporary contract position intended to provide coverage during an employee leave of absence. The anticipated assignment could be 90 days or longer, depending on business needs and the duration of the leave.
