Job Description:
The E2E Test Manager will provide end-to-end testing leadership for a high-priority enterprise program within the Finance / Regulatory Compliance portfolio.
This is not a Scrum Team QA Lead role. The position requires a strong Project/Program Test Manager who can orchestrate testing across multiple platforms, products, engineering teams, and business stakeholders while providing program-level governance and executive visibility.
Responsibilities
· Lead and manage end-to-end testing for a large-scale enterprise program, spanning multiple platforms, products, engineering teams, and business stakeholders.
· Establish the overall E2E testing strategy, governance model, test approach, milestones, entry/exit criteria, and execution framework for the program.
· Partner with Platform, Engineering, Product, Business, and QA leaders to coordinate testing activities and ensure alignment across interconnected workstreams.
· Create, own, and maintain a holistic integrated testing schedule, including test preparation, environment readiness, data readiness, execution cycles, defect remediation, regression testing, and release milestones.
· Track testing milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and critical-path activities across participating teams and proactively address schedule risks.
· Develop comprehensive Program Test Plans and Test Strategies, identifying appropriate testing methodologies, tooling, frameworks, environments, and reporting mechanisms. · Own program-level test readiness assessments and ensure cross-functional teams are prepared for planned testing cycles and releases.
· Establish and facilitate defect triage and management processes, partnering with Engineering, Product, QA, and Production teams to prioritize defects and drive critical issues to resolution ahead of releases.
· Maintain a strong understanding of production and QA/testing processes, serving as the central coordination point between teams for E2E testing activities.
· Identify and manage cross-platform testing dependencies, risks, issues, assumptions, and blockers, ensuring appropriate mitigation and escalation.
· Own and maintain testing inputs into the overall E2E project roadmap, integrated project plan, RAID, milestones, and executive reporting.
· Lead recurring Program Test Syncs, readiness reviews, defect triage sessions, and other cross-functional testing governance forums.
· Create comprehensive Program Test Summaries, dashboards, scorecards, and executive-level reporting covering test execution, pass/fail trends, defect status, readiness, risks, dependencies, and overall testing health.
· Prepare and deliver biweekly and monthly executive leadership updates, including BUR reporting and other program governance forums.
· Present testing status, risks, decisions, and recommendations effectively to VP-level and senior leadership audiences, translating detailed testing information into concise executive insights.
· Drive accountability across participating teams for testing commitments, deliverables, defect resolution, and milestone completion.
· Support the scaling and coordination of QA/testing teams across fast-paced enterprise environments and multiple concurrent workstreams.
· Leverage tools such as Rally/Jira for milestone, execution, defect, dependency, and program-level reporting.
· Coordinate testing activities involving cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, where applicable.
· Ensure testing activities appropriately address Finance, Risk, Regulatory, and Compliance requirements, controls, and program commitments.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
· Demonstrated experience managing large-scale E2E testing programs or complex enterprise initiatives.
· Strong Project/Program Management capabilities, with the ability to manage testing across multiple platforms and organizations rather than within a single Scrum team.
· Proven experience developing and executing enterprise-level test strategies, test plans, integrated schedules, and testing governance.
· Strong experience with defect management, triage, release readiness, dependency management, and risk management.
· Proven ability to create executive dashboards, program test summaries, and leadership presentations.
· Strong executive communication skills with experience presenting to VP-level and senior leadership.
· Experience with Rally and/or Jira reporting and dashboards.
· Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, or other cloud platforms.
· Experience working within Finance, Regulatory, Risk, or Compliance portfolios is highly desirable.
