Description

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Quality Control Analyst for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Lexington, MA .  Details for the position are as follows:
 
Quality Control Analyst

Location: 100% Onsite
Pay Rate: $38.54–$39.87/hr
Duration: 6 Months

Job Description

  • Support daily QC Raw Materials laboratory operations focused on testing and release of raw materials for GMP manufacturing use.
  • Execute laboratory experiments and procedures under the direction of the lab manager and QC staff.
  • Assist with instrument and analytical method projects with appropriate supervision.
  • Author and revise protocols, test methods, SOPs, validation documents, and other QC documentation.
  • Participate in project meetings and support documentation activities required for regulatory and quality control compliance.
  • Perform routine laboratory activities supporting QC operations and ongoing projects.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or a closely related field required.

Required Skills

  • Hands-on laboratory experience in a quality control or GMP environment.
  • Experience executing laboratory experiments and analytical procedures.
  • Experience with QC documentation, including SOPs, test methods, protocols, or validation documentation.
  • Knowledge of GMP laboratory practices and raw material testing/release processes.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with MATLAB or other chemometric software.
  • Experience supporting instrument or analytical method projects.
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other regulated laboratory environment.
