Job Title: Senior Platform Software Engineer

Job Description:
•The team builds and operates the platform behind a number of critical system offerings. This developer will work with our Platform team to design and develop tools and platform capabilities Requirements
•6+ years of software development experience
•Strong command of at least one of Java, Python, JavaScript, or Go
•Experience in backend development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed/parallel systems, information retrieval, networking, or systems/security software development
•Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and container
•Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or CodeDeploy
•Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams Preferred
•Hands-on Kubernetes experience
•Hands-on AWS experience
•Databases and middleware — Postgres, Kafka, Redis
•Big data stack — data warehousing, MPP, Spark, Flink
•Micro-service architecture and service mesh
•UI development experience
