US Tax Reporting Consultant - Banking

Partner with tax and operations teams to resolve reporting issues, strengthen controls, and improve reporting processes. Perform testing and quality assurance of tax reporting systems, including FIS Tax Reporting solutions.

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced US Tax Reporting Consultants for our bank client on a project basis. This contract role is hybrid with 4 days in office in Jersey City, NJ.

Responsibilities:

• Validate and reconcile tax reporting data to ensure accurate 1099 and 1042-S reporting.
• Review FATCA, NRA withholding, and tax documentation (W-8/W-9) for compliance and reporting accuracy.
• Perform testing and quality assurance of tax reporting systems, including FIS Tax Reporting solutions.
• Partner with tax and operations teams to resolve reporting issues, strengthen controls, and improve reporting processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields 
• 5+ years of relevant US Tax Reporting exprience.
