Summary:
Location: Sherman, TX
Full-time position
Responsibilities:
Grind and polish metal surfaces.
Use spot welding equipment to weld parts based on specifications.
Run samples and check product quality against prints.
Adjust spot welder settings according to material thickness and finish.
Perform all quality checks and fill out daily activity reports.
Enter time recording in SAP.
Change welding tips as necessary.
Engage in 5S and Continuous Improvement activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Must reside within the immediate geographical area of Sherman, TX.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. alone occasionally to frequently, and up to 100 lbs. with assistance occasionally.
Ability to read blueprints and use simple measuring tools.
Ability to follow directions and work independently with close attention to detail.
Ability to work as part of a team responsible for assembling an entire product or component.
Ability to reach, grasp, and manipulate.
Ability to work mandatory overtime, including Saturdays and up to 12 hours in a shift, as needed by the business.
