    A Brief Overview

    The US LBM Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for preparing, analyzing, interpreting and communicating financial data and reports to Finance leadership, executives and other business leaders to support informed decision-making. This role supports the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, manages special projects and analyses, and provides insights to improve business performance. The Senior Financial Analyst partners with business stakeholders to evaluate trends, support strategic initiatives, and deliver data-driven recommendations that align with organizational objectives.

    What you will do

    • Analyze trends in key performance indicators, including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, working capital, capital expenditures, and provide insights to support business performance.

    • Partner with business and finance leaders across Regions, Markets, Divisions, Corporate

    • Functions, or Shared Services teams to track performance and ensure financial and operational goals are being achieved.

    • Analyze complex financial information and reports to explain drivers and provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management.

    • Support the development of monthly business reviews, forecasts, annual budgets, and the tracking of strategic initiatives.

    • Assist in driving the continued development of budgeting, forecasting, and predictive modeling tools.

    • Support alignment with overall business strategy by tracking progress, making financial recommendations, and using analysis to support strategic growth while increasing the financial acumen of field leadership

    • Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives, including analysis on new growth opportunities.

    Education Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance or related field required.

    • Master's Degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred.

    Experience Qualifications

    • 3-5 years of experience in an accounting or finance role supporting a multi-unit organization

    • Demonstrated experience and advancement building analytical and financial connections with field leadership

    • Strong knowledge of financial statements, metrics, KPIs, and working capital drivers

    • Proficient in business analytics and financial forecasting

    • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, helpful to possess advanced skills such as SQL and/or VBA

    • Ability to independently forge relationships across Divisions, Regions, and Corporate Teams

    • Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity

    • Dedication to continuous improvement and collaboration

    • Energetic and proactive attitude with demonstrated ability to work in a deadline driver environment

    • Highest standards of accuracy and precision, highly organized

    • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Ability to think creatively, highly driven, and self-motivated

    • Ability to independently manage multiple analytical work streams, deliverables, and customers

    Travel Requirements

    • 10%-15% overnight travel if needed
