The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and improving Teamcenter performance, identifying system bottlenecks, developing performance baselines, and ensuring the scalability, reliability, and availability of enterprise Teamcenter environments. We are seeking an experienced Teamcenter Performance Architect with strong expertise in Teamcenter platform architecture, performance engineering, monitoring, and infrastructure optimization.

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Teamcenter Performance Architect with strong expertise in Teamcenter platform architecture, performance engineering, monitoring, and infrastructure optimization.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and improving Teamcenter performance, identifying system bottlenecks, developing performance baselines, and ensuring the scalability, reliability, and availability of enterprise Teamcenter environments.
The role requires extensive knowledge of Teamcenter architecture, database performance tuning, application servers, and enterprise monitoring tools.
Required Skills and Experience:
1. Teamcenter Platform Expertise

• Strong understanding of Teamcenter enterprise 2-tier, 4-tier, and web architectures.
• Experience with Active Workspace, Enterprise Tier, and Web Tier.
• Expertise in FSC/FMS, Dispatcher, and Multi-Site architecture.
• Knowledge of BMIDE, Teamcenter security models, TEM, and Deployment Center.
• Hands-on experience with Teamcenter upgrades, migrations, patching, and environment refreshes.

2. Performance Engineering

• Experience establishing performance baselines and defining SLAs and KPIs.
• Expertise in load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing.
• Ability to analyze critical Teamcenter transactions, including login, search, BOM, JT, and file downloads.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and isolate performance bottlenecks across applications, databases, networks, and storage systems.
• Experience with capacity planning, infrastructure sizing, and developing performance improvement roadmaps.

3. Monitoring and Observability

• Experience with Teamcenter Performance Monitor (TPM) and synthetic transaction monitoring.
• Proficiency in Nagios, Splunk, Grafana, and Power BI dashboards.
• Experience with JMX, process and service health monitoring, and log correlation.
• Ability to define monitoring thresholds, configure alerts, analyze performance trends, and develop operational runbooks.
• Experience monitoring Dispatcher queues, scheduled jobs, and Multi-Site environments.

4. Database and Infrastructure

• Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL tuning, execution plans, AWR/ASH, and database statistics.
• Experience with Tomcat, WebSphere, connection pools, and JVM performance analysis.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows performance diagnostics.
• Experience analyzing CPU utilization, memory usage, disk I/O, storage latency, and network performance.
• Knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, and load-balancing architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain performance baselines for Teamcenter environments, including SLA and KPI definitions.
• Design and execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests to evaluate system performance.
• Analyze critical Teamcenter transactions, including login, search, BOM operations, JT visualization, and downloads.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance bottlenecks across application, database, network, and storage layers.
• Conduct capacity planning and infrastructure sizing to support business growth and system scalability.
• Develop and implement performance optimization strategies and improvement roadmaps.
• Monitor Teamcenter applications and infrastructure to ensure system stability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with application, database, infrastructure, and support teams to resolve performance-related issues.
