Pay rate: $30.32 - $40.61/ hr
Work schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST (40.0 hours/week max; typical work schedule 25–35 hours/week PST; No OT/DT budget)
Assignment Dates: 10/12/2026 – 04/12/2027; 6-month contract with extension potential based on business needs
Overview
The Commercial Contracts Analyst II operates as a contracting superuser within the Data, Digital, and Analytics (DDA) team under US Commercial Medical Groups (CMG). Supporting the procurement of market research, business intelligence, and specialized data services, this role manages end-to-end contract execution for both Self-Service (pre-approved templates) and Full-Service agreements. Responsibilities include managing system intake via myBuy and Navigator, ensuring compliance with US Market Research and Patient Support Program (MAP) regulations, tracking vendor Master Service Agreements (MSAs), structuring Purchase Orders (POs), and resolving invoice discrepancies with Accounts Payable.
Job Specifications- Act as the designated contracting superuser processing and executing self-service agreements and handling system intake in myBuy and Navigator for complex full-service requests
- Manage, review, and process market research and data purchase contracts in compliance with vendor MSAs, data privacy standards, and acceptable use policies
- Oversee compliance tracking for the US Market Research and Patient Support Program (MAP) adhering to US healthcare regulations
- Structure, issue, and track Purchase Orders (POs) in partnership with Finance to ensure accurate FACT coding and reporting flexibility
- Serve as primary operational liaison between vendors, business leads, and Accounts Payable to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure timely payments
- Conduct educational sessions and train internal project leads on contracting workflows and myBuy platform navigation
- Bachelor’s degree required plus 5–10 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree with 5–10 years of experience
- Minimum 5+ years of dedicated contract management, procurement, or paralegal experience required (healthcare/pharmaceutical industry experience strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated experience handling specialized market research agreements, data purchase contracts, and digital vendor agreements highly preferred
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, financial billing, and Purchase Order (PO) structuring required
- Intermediate proficiency in Mac OS, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive), MS Office, and cloud contracting platforms required
- Flexibility to occasionally align with Global Procurement teams in European and South American time zones as needed

- Rehire Eligibility: Candidates with prior Roche/Genentech tenure must be vetted and approved via NAMBOX prior to submittal (must have a minimum 6-month break in service if 36-month tenure limit was met)
