Job Title: Platform Quality Engineer Integration & Interoperability

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: Contract to Hire

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Platform Quality Engineer with experience in software quality, healthcare data integration, and interoperability testing. The ideal candidate will support end-to-end testing of healthcare data exchanges, APIs, and integration platforms while ensuring quality standards and business requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, develop, execute, and analyze software quality and testing processes.

- Perform integration, interoperability, regression, and data validation testing.

- Validate healthcare data exchanges using APIs, SFTP, Kafka, and EHR platforms.

- Perform source-to-target data mapping and reconciliation.

- Test and validate FHIR and HL7 v2/v3 healthcare messages.

- Analyze business requirements, identify risks/issues, and support problem resolution.

- Manage defects and collaborate with development, application, and process teams.

- Document test results, defects, processes, and quality deliverables.

- Provide recommendations for continuous quality and process improvement.

- Work independently and effectively within Agile project teams.

Required Qualifications:

- 1 3 years of relevant Quality Engineering/testing experience; 4+ years considered for a strong match.

- Experience with source-to-target data mapping and data validation.

- Experience testing data integrations and interoperability solutions.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

- Strong technical and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with FHIR.

- Experience with HL7 v2/v3 testing.

- Experience with Kafka.

- Experience working in Agile environments.

- Healthcare or Health Insurance industry experience.

- Experience with Epic or Oracle Health EHR platforms.

- Experience with API, SFTP, integration, automation, regression, and end-to-end testing.
