We are looking for a Senior Application Consultant AWS Cloud with strong hands-on experience in AWS Cloud, Java/Spring Boot, microservices, full-stack development, CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud-native architecture. The candidate should be capable of leading cloud implementation and architecture for enterprise omnichannel systems and should have strong experience designing and implementing API and microservices-based applications. The ideal candidate will have strong software architecture knowledge, AWS service expertise, and the ability to translate existing application components into AWS-native solutions.
Required Skills:
- Strong AWS Cloud expertise at SME level
- Strong hands-on experience with Java backend development
- Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate/JPA
- Experience developing microservices-based applications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience with API and Microservices architecture
- Experience with Node.js, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, or Netflix OSS
- Strong understanding of cloud-native application development
- Experience with AWS services and AWS architecture
- Ability to map existing application components/functionality to appropriate AWS services
- Strong understanding of containers and serverless computing
- Full-stack development experience with React, Angular, and/or Vue.js
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and scripting technologies
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Hands-on experience with Docker
- Experience with Jenkins and/or GitLab CI
- Strong experience with Maven and/or Gradle
- Strong experience with Git and source-code management
- Experience implementing automation in software delivery pipelines
- Strong understanding of software architecture and design principles
- Experience with design patterns and microservices architecture
- Strong understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Experience with performance optimization
- Strong understanding of application security best practices
- Ability to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of AWS services for different application requirements
- Strong communication and client-facing leadership skills
- Ability to lead technical discussions and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale cloud implementation projects
- Financial Services / Banking experience is preferred
