    Physician Assistant | Urology

    Port St. Lucie, FL | Full-Time | On-Site

    A well-established specialty practice in Port St. Lucie is seeking a strong Physician Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have urology experience, but they are also open to PAs with backgrounds in General Surgery, Emergency Medicine, or ICU who are interested in expanding into urology.

    The PA will work closely with the physician to provide comprehensive patient care, including evaluations, follow-ups, treatment planning, patient education, and routine procedures. The role includes both outpatient care and limited hospital rounding.

    Compensation & Benefits

    • $140,000 base salary

    • Full-time position

    • Potential for a 4-day work week

    • 2 weeks of PTO

    • Additional unpaid time off available after PTO is exhausted

    • Half days the day before holidays

    Schedule & Call

    • Primarily outpatient urology

    • Hospital rounding at HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital

    • Morning rounds approximately 2–4 days per 28-day period

    Responsibilities

    • Perform patient histories and physical examinations

    • Evaluate and manage patients with urologic conditions

    • Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic testing

    • Develop treatment plans in collaboration with the physician

    • Manage follow-up visits

    • Perform routine procedures within scope of practice

    • Prescribe medications as permitted

    • Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment, and preventive care

    • Maintain accurate electronic medical records

    • Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

    Qualifications

    • Current Florida PA license or eligibility

    • NCCPA certification or eligibility

    • Urology experience preferred

    • Candidates with General Surgery, ER, or ICU experience will also be considered

    • Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills

    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment

    • CPR/BLS required; ACLS preferred

    • Outpatient or specialty clinic experience preferred, but not required

    • Willingness to learn urology-specific procedures and protocols
