Our client, a leading academic medical center affiliated with a prestigious medical school and serving a diverse urban population, is hiring a Urologist. Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, comprehensive urological care in both hospital and outpatient settings.
- Participate actively in the teaching and supervision of residents and medical students within the academic hospital environment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care, including general urology and subspecialty procedures such as robotics, reconstruction, female/pelvic medicine, voiding dysfunction, and endourology.
- Cover call duties with a scheduling structure of no more than 1 in 4, with offered flexibility based on department needs.
- Engage in academic responsibilities, including research, faculty meetings, and continued medical education.
Requirements
- MD degree and Urology Residency or Clinical Fellowship training
- Valid New York State Medical License, DEA, and Medicaid numbers.
- New graduates as well as experienced urologists are welcome to apply.
- Demonstrated proficiency in general urology procedures; experience in robotics or subspecialty areas such as reconstruction or female urology is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Eligibility or eligibility pending for U.S. medical licensing and certification, including H-1B or J-1 visa sponsorship for international applicants.
- Strong commitment to serving diverse, underserved populations with excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
