Position Summary
MultiCare Health System is seeking a Urologic Oncology Surgeon to join an established and expanding group practice in the beautiful state of Washington. Practicing within a Commission on Cancer (CoC)-accredited comprehensive cancer program, you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide personalized, evidence-based, and compassionate care for patients across all stages of urologic cancer.Responsibilities • Diagnose and treat disorders and cancers of the urinary tract and male reproductive system, including prostate, bladder, kidney, and testicular malignancies. • Perform advanced procedures such as radical prostatectomy, nephrectomy, and cystectomy, often utilizing minimally invasive and robotic-assisted techniques to enhance precision and recovery. • Interpret diagnostic imaging and lab results related to endocrine disorders. • Develop and manage pre- and post-operative care plans. • Work closely with oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and primary care providers to ensure comprehensive patient care. • Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and case reviews. • Maintain accurate and timely documentation • Ensure adherence to surgical safety protocols and institutional policies. • Educate patients and families on surgical procedures, risks, and recovery expectations. • Stay current with advancements in urological oncology through continuing education. • Mentor residents, fellows, or junior staff as applicable. • Participate in clinical trials or research initiatives aimed at improving surgical outcomes and techniques (if applicable). • Participate in tumor boards, care conferences, and quality improvement initiatives. Requirements • Board certified/eligible in Urology at time of employment • Successful completion of a residency program • Successful completion of fellowship accredited by the Society of Urologic Oncology • Current licensure in Washington State by the time of employment • DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $560,000.00 - $625,000.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
