    Description

    Healthcare United is seeking a Uro-Hospitalist to join a well-supported inpatient urology program in East Central Illinois. This position features a true 7 on / 7 off block schedule with a flat salary and no RVU targets — predictable income, 26 weeks off per year, and zero clinic obligations. Focus entirely on hospital-based urologic care within an expanding regional health system.

    • Provide inpatient urologic consultation and management during scheduled blocks
    • Perform urgent and emergent urologic procedures for hospitalized patients
    • Support emergency department urology consultations
    • Coordinate transitions of care with the outpatient urology team
    • Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, and consulting specialists
    • Manage post-operative inpatient urologic care
    • Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
    • Deliver patient-focused, quality-driven care

    Requirements

    • MD or DO degree required
    • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
    • Eligible for or active Illinois medical license
    • Comfort managing acute inpatient and emergent urologic conditions
    • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available

    Benefits
