As a Wood Shop Associate, you'll build wooden shipping crates that help ensure safe transportation of goods worldwide. You'll work closely with your team to deliver results that make a difference.
What You'll Do
As a Wood Shop Associate, you will be responsible for:
Building large wooden shipping crates according to detailed blueprints and schematics, ensuring precision and quality
Using hand tools such as hammers, nail guns, and screw guns to assemble crates efficiently
Learning to operate table and skill saws safely while following all safety protocols
Measuring accurately with tapes and reading blueprints to meet exact specifications
Assisting with material handling and transporting wood throughout the warehouse
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
A high school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in construction or manufacturing (carpentry experience is a plus)
Proficiency with hand tools, including nail guns and screw guns
Ability to read blueprints and measure accurately, with a safety-minded attitude
