Job Description:
We are seeking a Systems Administrator to support IT infrastructure, server backups, lab systems, and domain migration activities. Experience in the life sciences industry is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Veeam backups, scheduling, retention policies, monitoring, and recovery testing.
Administer Windows Server environments, including backups, troubleshooting, patching, and updates.
Manage SQL backups, restores, integrity checks, and disaster recovery readiness.
Support laboratory IT systems, including system imaging and hardware/software testing.
Provide Tier 2 IT support, resolve incidents, document solutions, and escalate issues as needed.
Support migration from a legacy domain to a new domain, including daily re-domain activities.
Required Skills:
5 7 years of IT systems administration or infrastructure support experience.
Hands-on experience with Veeam, Windows Server, and SQL backups.
Knowledge of Active Directory
Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills.
Life sciences or laboratory IT experience preferred.
